Step 1: Gather Required Apps
Download Map Editor from the Google Play Store or trusted modding hubs. You will also need ZArchiver to manage your game files.
Step 2: Extract Game Files
Open ZArchiver and navigate to Android_unprotected/data/com.rockstargames.gtasa/files. Extract the gta3.img and IPL/IDE map files from the game directory to a dedicated folder on your internal storage.
Step 3: Import into Map Editor
Launch Map Editor and grant standard file storage permissions. Tap Load Resources, then locate your extracted game folder. The tool will load the 3D map environment, rendering the IPL objects in real-time.
Step 4: Edit Map Objects
Tap any object in the 3D preview to view its properties. You can:
Position: Adjust X, Y, Z coordinates to translate objects.
Rotate: Spin buildings, ramps, or trees to fit your vision.
Add/Delete: Add new IPL/IDE objects or clear unwanted terrain clutter.
Step 5: Save and Play
Once finished, hit Save IPL/IDE. Copy the modified files back to com.rockstargames.gtasa/files/data/maps/ using ZArchiver, launch GTA San Andreas, and enjoy your new map layout!
